Comments: I live just out the street from the school and it's interesting to watch the changes as the new school is erected. I'm sure it will be difficult for me to watch when Beall is finally torn down since I grew up here and my brother and sisters also graduated from Beall. Well, I guess as they say they can take away the building but they can't take away our memories.

Comments: I went to Beall and am sorry to hear about the name change. I think it should stay the same, just because they're bringing students from other places doesn't mean they have to change the name,its been Beall for many yrs and a big part in the life of thousands of young people. Many members of my family went there. I was so proud to take my girls there to see my high school & wanted to bring my granddaugher to visit the school I've talked about to her for yrs & now not only are they taking the building but also the name.Things change,sometimes for the better,but I have to say this is not one of those times!!!!!!

Comments: nice site. If only the Frankfort webstaff could do what you guys do here. We'd all be a lot better off. The only complaint is the lack of pictures for certain activities. It seems like cheerleaders, or dance team has tons of pictures, while band, and other clubs have next to nothing. Maybe you should try to find or use more pictures of the band. Just a suggestion. Other than that...great job..you could definatly teach the frankfort webstaff a thing or two!

Comments:I am a former student of Westmar. I moved at the beginig of the this school year to Short gap West Virginia. I now attend Frankfort High School. If this consolidation is going to happen then the name and colors should be the students to decision because their the ones that will have to live with it. It's their school and they should have the right to decide on that. I think the BOARD OF EDUCATION should get the thoughts of the students from Beall and Westmar before making any major decisions. It shouldn't be about what the Board wants, it should be about what the kids want. If they want to consolidate they should start with Alleghany and Fort Hill. All because of this stupid consolidation my mother and step-father made me move. I had to leave all my friends that I've know since I started school and make new ones my freshmen year of high school. It's not right. Things were fine the way they were. The students aren't the only ones that will suffer, the teachers will too. Do you think that there will be job for every teacher from both schools? The students from Beall and Westmar do not and will not get along. This can't be for the best. Tell it to someone else.

Comments: Mrs. Croft was a great teacher and friend. I miss her greatly. She had a huge heart and would go above and beyond to help others. One thing that I will always remember is that when I had a dream to accomplish something she always encouraged me to get there. What made her happy was seeing that her "kids" were happy. I know she's looking down on us now. I miss you Crofty!
